Our Purpose.
I founded this practice to stop a recurring tragedy: the preventable fracturing of family relationships when a legacy is left to chance rather than deliberate planning. True generational law requires foresight—the ability to look past the immediate horizon, anticipate future challenges, and build an enduring legacy that stands the test of time.
My mission is to bridge the gap between generations. I wanted to establish a practice dedicated to providing the enduring stability needed to pass your life's work securely to the next generation, ensuring that your hard-earned assets transition seamlessly to those who matter most.

Jonathan M. Weigand
Principal Lawyer
My career started in a general civil litigation firm where I gained broad exposure to several areas of practice. I quickly developed an enduring passion for estate law and the meaningful impact of helping families navigate the complex and unique challenges that accompany aging, incapacity and end-of-life.
I transitioned my career to practicing exclusively in wills and estate boutique firms where I immersed myself in both estate planning and estate litigation. These environments provided invaluable exposure to the complexities of both sides of estate planning and estate litigation. Navigating complex courtroom disputes gave me a direct window into the real-world consequences of careless planning.
By drawing on my experience as a litigator and a planner, I can bring a well-rounded perspective to the table. use my experience resolving estate disputes to help clients create clear, thoughtful plans that protect their assets and minimize future misunderstandings. Having seen firsthand the unintended, difficult consequences that careless planning can create for loved ones, I am dedicated to protecting my clients' families from similar hardship.
